my stances
- obviously i am anti racist, pro lgbt, anti-ableist, fat positive, etc. i like to think i am generally a good person. this page is moreso related to specific discourse opinions that you cant just assume from people, though. yknow, the things that typically do need clarification (at least, i typically assume most people i meet are decent until proven otherwise)
- zionists please leave i should not have to explain why
- ship discourse: i have reasonable moral limits, and i generally dislike proshipper types, but im mostly apathetic about ship discourse itself. i guess you could call me an anti if the labels are prescriptive, but i dont like being involved with shipcourse at all. im not 'neutral' in the sense of 'well Maybe incest is okay! Lets Hear Both Sides On Whether Incest Is Okay' i just dont like participating in the discourse itself. tldr proshippers are freaks etc but i feel like anyone who heavily involves themself with shipcourse and actively gets into arguments about it is also kind of weird.
- i dont like to get involved in syscourse, and i dont want to argue about it due to personal discomforts. i do think its a little distressing how many singlets have defined syscourse stances, it feels like theyre stepping in on something that isnt their place to decide? but idk
- on that note i dont think its ever fair to claim someone is faking or lying about their experiences (especially with mental illness/personal identity) without concrete evidence that they are deliberately doing so. no one else is the expert on your own experiences but you, and though you may be wrong about the nature of an experience youre having, its difficult for a personal experience to be "fake". (hell, you could argue that hallucinations are 'real' in a sense because someone who is hallucinating is often emotionally affected by their hallucinations as if it were actually happening.) yes, some people are faking for attention, but it ends up hurting more people overall if you dedicate yourself to trying to sniff the fakers out, and even then theres probably a reason they need that attention that indicates something wrong with them anyway. idk
- i do not think dysphoria is needed to be trans. i also believe in the existence of nonbinary genders, seeing as i am a nonbinary person myself. i am also supportive of xenogenders/neopronouns, and by extension things like titles and typing quirks (within reason/in private for tqs). basically i think people should be allowed to do whatever they want with their self-expression as long as it harms no one, even if it doesnt necessarily make sense to me.
- pro he/him lesbians and she/her gays. pronouns are an element of gender expression and can sometimes have very little to do with actual gender. i am... very much neutral on mspec discourse and male lesbian discourse. both sides have points and i really dont know what to make of it, especially as i am not a lesbian/do not label my sexuality.
- i have no quarrel with microlabels/aesthetically charged labels as long as they arent hurting anyone, but i dont really like alternate acronyms for lgbt (mogai/liom/etc).
- transspecies, as a term, has been used in the alterhuman community for years before "transid" people picked it up. as such, i think comparing it to such constructions as "transrace" "transabled" etc is a false equivalency, as the term has a longer, ultimately not very problematic history. i also understand people who feel like a different age than they actually physically are, as i have similar experiences, (i do not believe people should be treated as their mental age and i condemn pedophilia in all forms. i personally consider myself to be without a mental age/"ageless") but i dont think "transage" is a good word to describe that phenomenon as it implies that it is possible to "transition". i have similar feelings about biid vs "transabled". aldernic people are fine by me as long as they dont use "transid" terminology.
- personality disorders do not make people inherently abusive. narc abuse is not a thing, i dont care if your abuser actually had an npd diagnosis that still doesnt make it acceptable to use a term that paints everyone with npd diagnoses as abusive. grow up please (at the same time, npd as a diagnosis should not exist, "personality disorders" as diagnoses should not exist)
- is acecourse still a thing?? im an ace inclusionist but also i feel like that discourse died back in like 2019 is it even worth mentioning at this point?? oh right pan discourse is still a thing so i should probably mention that i dont give a shit how similar pan is to bi its just a word/flag preference it doesnt mean a hell of a lot (if youre biphobic in that weird way that pan people sometimes are where youre like "oh bisexual means two genders" i dont like you though.)
- if you use or support "ai" "art/writing" (procedurally generated images/text) please either stop it or stay away from me. this includes character.ai. please do not feed the algorithms that are trying to replace human writers and artists in the job market.
- i think that forming communities around harmful paraphilias is a bad idea and will just lead to normalization, but i dont really care that those people exist as long as they keep it to themselves because i think that trying to mass institutionalize 'pedophiles' will just lead to negative side effects for queer people due to the 'lgbt groomer' stereotype.
- cop supporters, cop defenders, cop apologists, all of you can fuck off
- this is less of a stance but i dont want dsmp fans or kpop stans interacting with me
- please dont call me an "enby".
