who is this idiot anyway?

"jams" is the most well-documented alias of a certain monster originating from the oribou spawning pit. it can most frequently be encountered at raves and getting into petty arguments in internet forums. when not engaging with the outside world, it produces various eccentric works of art, marked by the presence of stickmen in most of its original works. outside of its passion for stick figures, it engages with various obscure media, and struggles to form an interest in anything actually culturally relevant. its current life goal is to produce at least one rpg maker game set in its main conworld.

jams favours unusual themes in its artwork, citing an awareness of "energy" surrounding different themes, tropes, and ideas. its art often seeks to capture certain feelings and ideas it has that are difficult to explain in words. it sees art as a tool of exploration and as an outlet for projection, a dichotomy visible in many parts of its body of work. it frequently returns to themes of transformation, mutilation, and otherwise changing the body and mind in various ways. it owes a lot of this interest to the experience of navigating genderlessness, but it also owes a lot of it to simply seeing the wrong media at the wrong time as an autistic child.

jams prefers to surround itself with people who will not tear into it. it avoids people who are overly stuffy and hard to interact with, extremely online, or conversely, too creepy. it prefers not to engage with most internet discourse, finding it tiresome and pointless. if it feels like it is walking on eggshells or it has to keep too many secrets, it will rapidly wear thin. the same goes for if its own boundaries of comfort are pushed, or if it becomes fearful of its surroundings.

jams is infamous in certain circles for its faulty source code. it would like to reiterate that it is doing its best with what it has, and is working to change what it is capable of changing. however, some things will always be out of its reach, such as the ability to change the way its emotions function, and it asks for patience with that fact.
